No, you can add different apps. Most are free. You can upgrade as well. I have several, but am mostly using Art Studio. I know there is so much more I can do, but haven’t learned all the technical stuff yet. I really don’t understand the concept of layering. I think younger people don’t understand how you draw without layering. But, in my day you had one sheet of paper to work with so that is what I’m used to. I use a stylus, which is basically serves as a pencil/brush. It’s like using the eraser end of a pencil.
