This is a smashing painting and I’ll bet it looks a lot better in real life, never mind ”still life.”
My father has been an artist ( amateur) for close to fifty years. One if his first pieces was a still life of a green jug,and two oranges.( he won a cash prize of five pounds when it was displayed at a gallery exhibition for local artists) He used a palette knife. It hangs on the wall in my home office.
