My husband and I want to wish a Happy 96th Birthday to Grandma! This picture was taken a couple of years ago. She held up a blown-up Ipad painting I did of her. My husband is her first grandchild. Now she is a great-great grandmother.

You are blessed of still having a Grandma. It is wonderful that with her 96 years she looks physically in a good shape.
She is in good shape. Yes, we are blessed to have her. My husband has both his parents and this grandmother. I lost all of mine quite a while ago.
Oh that sounds familiar. We are having it the other way around. My husband lost his parents and grandparents long ago. I was blessed with my grandmother too, who died last year at the age of 86. Only my grandfathers went very early and also my father 2 years ago at the age of 65. So we are very happy to still have my mother who is also in a very good shape and full of energy. 🙂
That is really young. I’m so sorry. My mother died at 69.
