There’s No Place Like Home

Yesterday morning we woke up to eight inches of snow in North Carolina.  We were visiting my daughter and son-in-law.   We had hoped to escape the snow and cold temperatures by driving South.

We had a great Christmas in being able to spend time with them.  Still, there’s no place like home, especially, when you’re suffering from a cold.  We arrived home late tonight.  We brought home some Lush bubble bath products (gift from my daughter).  The bathtub was the first place I was headed.  The amaryllis flower in the picture sits on the bathtub ledge.

I’m thankful for a Christmas spent with family, but also to be home once again.
